Getting Noova Adjust funded through the Employment Assistance Fund

An Australian guide for employees, employers, and JobAccess applicants.

What is the Employment Assistance Fund?

The Employment Assistance Fund (EAF) is an Australian Government program that helps people with disability or a health condition — including ADHD — access workplace support. It is administered through JobAccess. Employees, self-employed people, and job seekers may be eligible.

What it can fund

The EAF funds “specialised support and training” for eligible individuals. Noova Adjust falls within this category as an AI-powered executive function support tool. The standard funding amount is approximately A$1,682 per employee per 12-month period. Noova Adjust is priced at approximately A$750/year (billed in USD at $490/year) — well within a standard EAF award.

Who is eligible

  • An employee or self-employed worker with a disability or health condition (including ADHD)
  • An Australian resident
  • Someone with supporting documentation (GP letter, diagnosis report, or medical certificate)

Your employer does not need to be involved in the application — you can apply as an individual.

How to apply

Applications are made through the JobAccess website at jobaccess.gov.au. When describing the support you need, you can say:

“I require specialised productivity and executive function support software to manage ADHD-related challenges at work. Noova Adjust provides AI-powered task capture, energy-matched organisation, focus session tracking, and a Workplace Adjustment Report.”

The Workplace Adjustment Report

Noova Adjust includes a Workplace Adjustment Report — a professionally formatted document generated from your real usage data. It shows your task completion patterns, focus session data, time estimation profile, and recommended workplace adjustments. It is designed to be handed directly to your assessor, employer, or HR team.

Questions

Do I need a formal ADHD diagnosis?

Supporting documentation is required — this can be a GP letter, diagnosis report, or medical certificate. A formal psychiatric diagnosis is not always required.

Can my employer apply on my behalf?

Yes — employers can also apply for EAF funding on behalf of an eligible employee.
